fircl ("we," "us," or "our") is a mobile application that lets sports fans watch live games with their friend groups in real-time chat threads. You can reach us at fircl.app@gmail.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use fircl:

• Email address — used to create and manage your account
• Username — chosen by you, displayed to other users in crews and chats
• Team preferences — the sports teams you choose to follow
• Chat messages — messages you send in game threads and crew chats
• Push notification token — used to deliver notifications to your device
• Device platform — iOS or Android, used to send the correct notification format

We do not collect your location, contacts, payment information, or any data beyond what is listed above.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively to provide the fircl service:

• Authenticating you and maintaining your account
• Displaying your username and messages to members of your crews
• Showing you games for teams you follow
• Sending push notifications about game activity and crew updates

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app.

4. Third-Party Services

fircl relies on the following third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and real-time messaging infrastructure (supabase.com/privacy)
• Expo / Expo Push Notifications — mobile app platform and push notification relay (expo.dev/privacy)
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — Android push notification delivery (firebase.google.com/support/privacy)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information and messages will be deleted within 30 days. Some aggregate or anonymized data may be retained for service improvement purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account

7. How to Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. To do so, email us at fircl.app@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account.

Upon receiving your request we will permanently delete the following within 30 days:

• Your account and login credentials
• Your username and display name
• Your team preferences
• Your chat messages and crew memberships

You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

9. Children's Privacy

fircl is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and secure authentication. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date. Continued use of fircl after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
